A Message from Judge Paras
Thank you to those who supported me in my successful campaign for the Democratic nomination for Judge of the Lake County Circuit Court. Now, it is time to focus on the General Election in which we face an appointed Republican opponent who did not participate in a primary. I therefore ask for your continuing support and your vote.

The Lake County Circuit Court hears civil lawsuits involving private parties. With its busy and varied caseload, the court requires a judge with both extensive practical legal knowledge and the ability to conduct court operations.
I have practiced law in Northwest Indiana for 30 years. I have served as the Judge of the Merrillville Town Court since 1996 and as the Probate Commissioner of the Lake County Circuit Court since 2005.
My appointed Republican opponent is discounting my judicial service as a Town Court Judge and Probate Commissioner by claiming that I hear only minor or routine cases. Anyone who has ever been a party to a civil or criminal case in a Town or City court or to probate proceedings in the Circuit Court knows that there is no such thing as a minor or routine case in any court.
My years of experience as an attorney and a judge enable me to best serve the people of Lake County as the next Judge of the Lake County Circuit Court. I therefore respectfully ask for your vote and thank you for your support.
Sincerely,
Hon. George C. Paras
